Hartman|Shurr is a professional corporation engaged in the general practice of law. Except for family law and general criminal work, we provide services in nearly every field of law actively practiced in our community.

The firm began in January of 1998 as Hartman, Hartman, Howe & Allerton with four shareholders who left a larger Reading firm. Quickly, the firm grew, adding associates and a fifth shareholder. We have now doubled in size with a team of attorneys and paralegals to provide innovative solutions to our client base.

Because today’s complex legal system requires lawyers to be specialized in order to properly advise their clients, our attorneys have developed individual areas of concentration.

In addition to assisting individuals with their legal affairs, we represent businesses from small local enterprises to large corporations trading in world markets.
